Wow! Did You Sleep Last Night?

What a crazy night!

I didn’t get to sleep until around 1:30 AM and I was still anxious about the flipping of ridings from blue to red.

I’m relieved to see Mark Carney and the Liberals come from absolutely nowhere and hanging on the precipice of political oblivion just a few months ago to nearly securing a majority last night.

The Cons gained more seats, but I’m sure many of them are happy to see MAGA Millhouse lose his seat. I know I am.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if he kicks someone else out of their riding, but would suggest that if it happens, a new riding election needs to take place.

Even though the lead is slim, the lack of leadership with the other parties gives Carney a lot of breathing space until he finds his rhythm. Which honestly, probably won’t take very long.

Congrats to ALL of the candidates who proved to Canada that we have hundreds of qualified people ready to run the country, but a special heartfelt congratulations to Mark Carney and his team for stepping up to bring Canada forward in what might be the most perilous times ever experienced in this country.
