Will Trump Bring in Martial Law?

This is an ominous anniversary – Hitler’s birthday – and it’s set to be the date on which Donald Trump might put the ‘The Insurrection Act’ into effect.

This is a little known piece of legislation that was previous introduced in the United States in 1807.

The Insurrection Act of 1807, which allows the president to deploy U.S. armed forces and the national guard against Americans in situations of civil unrest, was last invoked in 1992 to put down the Rodney King riots after the four white police officers who were filmed beating King were acquitted. The nonpartisan Brennan Center has called the law “dangerously overbroad and ripe for abuse.”

The concern is growing with many folks out there, including myself.

In the wake of the protests – massive crowds that are only getting larger each weekend – Trump will have all the excuses he wants to bring down the hammer on ‘insurrectionists’ that object to his rapey style of government.

Last weekend, anywhere from 5 to 15 million people attended protests across the United States. All carried the message that Donald Trump and the GOP were not doing their job. They’re too busy blaming poor people for funneling off the system when they fail to look at the billionaires like Musk who wouldn’t have a couple of dimes to rub together if it wasn’t for the government.

The response to protests starting April 20 will start small so it can be controlled and contained easily.

They won’t start by chasing after everyone.

The Trump Administration is outnumbered by 350 million to just dozens. This should scare the MAGA-loving shit out of them. However, Dementia Donnie is too stupid, prideful, and sleazy to realize this. He’s looking for an excuse to declare martial law against the people whom he swore to protect in his oath of duty.

There will likely be a LOT of Proud Boy provocateurs on the scene, throwing bricks … or worse amid crowds of peaceful protesters.

And the media will go bananas talking up ‘details’ and ‘facts’ about how quickly the peaceful protests turned into riots.

One city after another will fall victim to the dictatorial thumb of Trump and his Technate cabal.

Be afraid everyone, but be vigilant and most of all, be respectful and peaceful.

Look for provocateurs and call them out. Shut them down.

If things go off the rails, the next prediction is that there will be full-out Civil War, 2.0 in the US and it will NOT be pretty.
