Undercover Provocatuers En Masse
This story just goes to show how ridiculous things have become in terms of security, right to protest and the right to state your opinion about how things are being handled by those who think they know best.
They stage a fight, they pepper-spray themselves and then they get dragged away all while pretending to create a level of animosity that just wasn’t there.
And now, ‘activists’ are being labelled as ‘anarchists’.
I don't quite get what side are you on this. Some activists are getting overboard. They make false claims that they are hurt. But sometimes they just wait there, throw stones at the enemy then cry when the enemy throw stones back at them.
Provocateurs create a very insidious problem in an open and democratic society. I believe that people have the right to congregate and protest any government or any organization. The goal of provocateurs is to create inflammatory situations and make it look like it's the protesters that are getting out of control. When this happens, the media latches on to a disruption, blames the protesters and the work of the provocateur is complete: point the blame on the protesters and distract the public from the real news: that decisions are being made in an undemocratic way.
Activtists are not getting overboard. The are exercising their civil liberties and are the ones who are bold enough to take a stand against tyranny on this planet.
