June 1, 2017: The US Takes a Back Seat to History

I don’t have a lot of comment for the story about Donald Trump and the Republicans making the announcement to step aside from the Paris Accord.

I’ll say this: the US began its course of taking a back seat to history as we move forward without them.

All I can do is shake my head at the stupidity of the Trump government and the people propping up this monolith.

In a way, I’m glad. The world will move on and the US will fade from existence and relevance.

It will be a LONG time before they get a seat back at the adult table.
