Looking for some good news?
It seems like Elon Musk’s Tesla battery company will soon ‘break the back’ of efficiency compared to the internal cobustion engine.
Tesla’s zero-cobalt battery goes beyond price parity, it’s a strike to gas cars’ jugular
I know a lot of people don’t like Musk, but he’s no different than all of the other mega-billionaires out there and at least he’s trying to push things in a green direction. Yes, he’s profiting from it, but this is the kind of ‘profit from societal ills’ that I can tolerate.
I still maintain that our federal government should roll things out for Tesla / Musk and nationalize the GM plants in Oshawa, given all of the investment we made in a nuclear electric infrastructure for GM (and cost of eternally having to worry about depleted uranium). We then partner, produce and profit from the manufacture of what everyone wants.
What have you seen on the ‘green frontier’ that makes you think there’s some good ideas floating around and/or cause for optimism?
