Trump: Officially An Ambassador of Russian Expansionism and Terrorism
Much like Joe Biden, Donald Trump should not be running for President of the US this fall.
There are probably quite literally a MILLION reasons why, but here’s the biggest red flag of them all: he’s being held hostage by Vladamir Putin.
Trump comes out one day and declares that the US is putting too much into the Ukraine to defend itself.
The next day, he declares that any NATO member that doesn’t keep its 2% commitment will most likely be Russia’s next target.
This unilateral bullying is precisely the reason why we thought we won World War II, but obviously idiots like Trump and other GOP supporters can’t back out of whatever blackmail Putin has over them.
And, despite what I said about Joe Biden, at least he has some common sense in the matter:
“Supporting this bill is standing up to Putin,” Biden said. “Opposing it is playing into Putin’s hands.”
Biden then attacked Trump for his encouraging of Republicans in the House to refuse to support the bill and for his comments about Russia and Nato.
“Can you imagine a former president of the United States saying that? The whole world heard it,” he said. “The worst thing is, he means it. No other president in our history has ever bowed down to a Russian dictator. Let me say this as clearly as I can: I never will.
“For God’s sake it’s dumb, it’s shameful, it’s dangerous. It’s un-American. When America gives its word it means something, so when we make a commitment, we keep it. And Nato is a sacred commitment.”
Trump: Endorsing Russian Expansionism While Bullying NATO Members. Nice.
Is this all we have for leadership of the world?
