‘FLUSH’: Millions of Taxpayer Dollars to be Thrown Away on Traditional Media
Bitch and moan all you want about the ways Liberals waste dollars, but when you have your hands out for more cash than Croesus can manage, you know what you are.
Hypocrites.
For more than 20 years, you’ve had opportunities to adapt to this thing called the ‘Interwebz’ and you’re hoping to get even more cash from Canadians who don’t want you around.
For more than 20 years, you had the ability to learn and act. You have NOT.
For more than 20 years, you could have changed your reporting model so that you engaged Canadians with Canadian stories.
For 10 years, you siphoned ‘advertising dollars’ to the tune of billions of dollars from the Harper government as they spent like no tomorrow on propaganda campaigns for their economic programs.
For more than 20 years, you’ve pretended that you ‘cover’ ‘local’ news and information, while barraging us with hyped-up capitalist sentiments from a central office.
We’re at a crossroads. We all know that any taxpayer money spent on print media will be akin to lighting it with a match.
After 20 years, the clock SHOULD HAVE RUN OUT. But somehow, you still manage to squeeze a few more bucks from the public.
Good for you. I truly wish I could pull of that kind of heist.
