MayDay 2011: The Conservative Coalition (repost)
Repost from April 12. Stephen Harper would have us believe that coalitions are evil, but he’s been leading one for the last eight years.
Follow all of my rants concerning the upcoming Canadian Election. It’ll be fun. I promise you. And if you don’t like what I have to say, then off to the Tar Sands with you!!
Repost from April 12. Stephen Harper would have us believe that coalitions are evil, but he’s been leading one for the last eight years.
Canada wastes several billion PER YEAR subsidizing the creation, expansion and mechanization of the Tar Sands in Alberta, all so that we can export billions more in Dirty Oil to the United States. It’s a failed strategy when it comes to energy development, storage and transfer in this country. It must change. Any government other than a Stephen Harper Government (TM) would eliminate these subsidies. […]
Stephen Harper’s lies about the economic policies and platforms of the other parties should not be tolerated. In this post, I take several of his accusations to task and remind everyone that it’s Stephen Harper that’s driving up the cost of living for Canadians.
American efforts to privatize prisons should be seen as the ‘canary in the coalmine’ for Canadian finances and the inability of Conservatives to balance the books without massive sell-offs of public assets. Don’t let it happen.
I’ll be re-posting a number of popular articles as the MayDay 2011 Election Campaign winds down. Enjoy!
